The above object is an organism.
Firstly, this object can produce offsprings by flowering and dispersal of fruits and seeds. It can carry out sexual reproduction.
Secondly, it needs food for maintaining life. Its mode of nutrition is to make food by photosynthesis.
Next, it can break down food to release energy by the process of respiration. The metabolic wastes, such as carbon dioxide, are excreted from its body.
Another important characteristic shown by this object is growth. Its size and body complexity increase permanently.
Last, although this object seems to be unable to move, it shows irritability in response to some stimuli such as light and gravity. It shows growth movement in response to light, though the movement process is very slow and insignificant.
In conclusion, the above object is an organism which show all characteristics of living things.
